Pangea, formed in early 2002, performs in the tradition of the great steelbands of Trinidad, playing arrangements of soca, calypso, and Latin/jazz tunes, as well as original compositions for pan instrumentation. Pangea plays actively throughout West Michigan at functions such as weddings, company picnics, music festivals and corporate events, all looking for a unique Caribbean feel.
